The Advance Investing Course Part 1 provides a comprehensive foundation in investing, equipping you to compare various investment options with widely accepted benchmark strategies. You’ll start by mastering the essential building blocks of a strong portfolio, including an in-depth exploration of the popular 3-fund portfolio and techniques for analyzing and measuring risk effectively. As you progress, we’ll introduce strategies for diversifying your portfolio, such as incorporating TIPS, intermediate and long-term bonds, and varying stock types by value, growth, market size, and geography. You’ll also explore alternative assets, including gold and crypto. For short-term strategies, we’ll evaluate investment options against benchmark approaches covered in the Essentials of Investing Course.

The course then transitions to critical investment evaluation methods, covering fundamental and technical analysis, macroeconomic connections, and an introduction to crypto, derivatives, and short selling. Finally, you’ll gain a comprehensive understanding of the financial industry—examining central banks, asset management firms, venture capital, and fintech companies—and their impact on your passive investment strategy. It requires about 1 hour a week over the next 12 weeks to complete:
